1. WHO WE ARE

Marrakesh Shop (marrakeshshop.com) is operated by Cooperative TORATH BOUJAD (تعاونية تراث بوجعد), a registered cooperative in Morocco managed by Saadi Badreddine. We are responsible for your personal data.

This policy applies to all our customers, wherever they live.

2. DATA WE COLLECT

Contact data: name, email, phone number, postal address.
Order data: products, amounts, currency, delivery address, messages, return requests.
Payment data: handled only by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
Browsing data: IP address, country, device, browser and pages visited (through cookies).

3. WHY WE USE IT

To process, ship and deliver your order, including customs clearance in your country.
To provide customer service, returns and refunds.
To meet our accounting and tax obligations.
To protect our store against fraud.
To send you news and offers, only if you agree. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We never sell your personal data.

4. WHO RECEIVES YOUR DATA

Carriers: DHL Express, FedEx Express (international) and CTM (Morocco), and the customs authorities of your country.
Payment providers: Shopify Payments, PayPal and the payment methods you choose at checkout (for example Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna).
Saadi Mohammed, self-employed individual registered in Spain (NIF: Z1510447L), who collects our payments through Shopify Payments and makes refunds on our instruction, under a written agreement.
Shopify, which hosts our store.
Public authorities, when the law requires it.

5. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

We prepare your order in Morocco and deliver it to your country, so your data travels between Morocco, your country and the countries of our service providers. These transfers are necessary to deliver your order. Where the law requires it (for example in the EU or UK), we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. COOKIES

Essential cookies make the cart and checkout work. Analytics and marketing cookies are used only where the law allows or with your consent, which you can change at any time through our cookie banner.

Product view counter. If you accept analytics cookies, we anonymously count that your browser viewed a product (at most once per day) to show how many people viewed it in the last 24 hours. This uses a random identifier that changes every day and is stored only in your browser. No name, email or IP address is kept, and the records are hosted by Cloudflare and deleted after 48 hours.

7. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

Order and invoice data: as long as accounting and tax law requires. Customer account: until you delete it. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Cookies: up to 13 months.

8. YOUR RIGHTS

Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or to stop sending you marketing. Depending on your country, you may have additional rights, such as data portability or the right to object (EU and UK under the GDPR). Write to info@marrakeshshop.com; we reply within one month. You can also contact the data protection authority of your country. In Morocco, personal data is protected by Law 09-08 (CNDP).

9. SECURITY

Our store uses SSL encryption. Card details are processed only by our payment providers. Access to your data is limited to the people who need it to fulfil your order.
